About this role

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their Developer Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design and build robust, scalable data pipelines and models that transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will also develop machine learning models to automate processes and support predictions, ensuring high-quality and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and models.
  • Transform raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Develop machine learning models to automate processes and support predictions.
  • Deploy and manage solutions using cloud platforms like Azure, Databricks, and ADLS.
  • Ensure security, quality, and compliance across all solutions.
  • Monitor systems, resolve issues, and drive root-cause fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
