Web GIS Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Web GIS Developer with strong expertise in geospatial technologies, GIS application development, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade GIS applications and geospatial services that enable advanced spatial analysis, visualization, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement GIS applications using modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain geospatial services and APIs to support various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Conduct spatial analysis and visualization to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS applications and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in GIS technologies such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
• Strong experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats and standards (e.g., GeoJSON, WMS, WFS).
• Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL with PostGIS.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Azure for GIS applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Web GIS development and geospatial technologies.
