Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the application security strategy and initiatives across various projects.
- Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and training to developers on secure coding practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application security, with a focus on secure software development.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in application security or a related field.
