About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a fully remote position based in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and be proficient in modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and NodeJS.
- Create and customize WordPress themes and hooks to enhance functionality.
- Manage server administration tasks on platforms such as Netlify and WPEngine.
- Conduct code reviews and implement Git branching strategies for version control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in React, WordPress, and NodeJS.
- Experience with server administration and deployment on Netlify, WPEngine, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Git and code review processes.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and GraphQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in web development.
