Web Applications Developer - Sacramento, CA

Our client is seeking a skilled Web Applications Developer to join their embedded IT team, specifically for the Department of Homeless Services and Housing (DHSH). This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension, and it offers the flexibility of fully remote work within the US.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.Net Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
• Utilize Power BI and SSRS for reporting and data visualization.
• Conduct research and analysis to solve complex problems effectively.
• Work with relational databases and SQL to manage data.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Work independently, managing assignments and meeting deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with ASP.Net Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
• Proficiency in Power BI and SSRS.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience with coding languages, databases, and data analytic tools.
• Interest in new and developing technologies.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.) systems is a plus.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
