About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Web Applications Developer to join their embedded IT team, specifically for the Department of Homeless Services and Housing (DHSH). This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension, and it offers the flexibility of fully remote work within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.Net Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
- Utilize Power BI and SSRS for reporting and data visualization.
- Conduct research and analysis to solve complex problems effectively.
- Work with relational databases and SQL to manage data.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Work independently, managing assignments and meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with ASP.Net Core, C#, MVC, and Angular.
- Proficiency in Power BI and SSRS.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with coding languages, databases, and data analytic tools.
- Interest in new and developing technologies.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.) systems is a plus.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
