Position: Unity XR/VR Developer (Contract / Short-Term Assignment)

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Unity XR/VR Developer to contribute to the development of an Industrial Training & Simulation application for a leading global industrial equipment manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in XR/VR development and will work primarily with the Meta Quest 3 platform to create immersive training experiences that simulate pump, piping, and equipment operations, as well as maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive XR/VR applications using Unity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand training objectives.
- Implement realistic simulations for industrial equipment operations and maintenance.
- Optimize applications for performance and usability on Meta Quest 3.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical support and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Unity3D with a strong portfolio of XR/VR projects.
- Experience with C# programming and scripting within Unity.
- Familiarity with XR development frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation techniques.
- Understanding of industrial equipment and training methodologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience Level:
- 3+ years of experience in Unity development, with a focus on XR/VR applications.
- Previous experience in industrial training or simulation projects is highly desirable.
