UI/UX Consultant

As a UI/UX Consultant, you will be the chief advocate for the users and beneficiaries of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and program management, research, and engineering to develop new products and prototypes. Your role will also involve working closely with external partners and customers such as government agencies, nonprofits, and corporates. Human-centric design is central to our approach and will guide how we create effective, intuitive, and impactful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for user needs and ensure that user experience is prioritized in product development.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design and prototype user interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into user-friendly designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design and consulting.
