Job Summary: A Technical Product Consultant is responsible for understanding client requirements, providing product demonstrations, supporting implementation, and helping customers use the product effectively through technical and functional guidance. This role involves close collaboration with clients to ensure they derive maximum value from the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and client meetings to showcase product features and benefits.
- Assist in product implementation, onboarding, and configuration to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
- Provide technical and functional support to customers, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, development, and support, to enhance product offerings.
- Gather and document customer feedback to inform product development and improvements.
- Train clients on best practices and effective use of the product to maximize their investment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
- Strong understanding of product management and technical consulting principles.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools, such as SQL, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience Level:
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical consulting, product management, or related role.
- Experience in client-facing positions, preferably in a technology or software environment.
