About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead and Software Architect to join their team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will lead the architecture, planning, management, and oversight of the development of web applications using modern visual development platforms. You will collaborate closely with the founder, product manager, product designer, and developers to transform business requirements, process diagrams, and UX/UI designs into scalable and secure enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a systems architect and technical advisor for web application projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and requirements.
- Oversee the development process, ensuring best practices in coding and architecture are followed.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development processes and product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on web applications.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with visual development platforms and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software engineering, with a focus on leadership and architectural roles.
