Our client is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract role in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in PHP and experience with various PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, and CodeIgniter. This is a hybrid position requiring immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks.
- Implement RESTful APIs and adhere to MVC architecture principles.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel, Yii, and CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of web development principles and OOP concepts.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of professional experience in PHP development.
