About this role
Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Ansible and Linux to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust deployment solutions for Fluence OS controls and integrating with various subsystems, including enclosures, PCS/BMS/RTU devices. As a hands-on member of the development team, you will contribute to delivering a releasable increment of product at the end of each sprint and support commissioning teams with bring-up and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time and offline Ansible-based deployment scripts for Fluence OS software across lab and production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support the commissioning teams during the bring-up phase and assist with diagnostics as needed.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Ansible and Linux environments.
- Experience with deployment automation and configuration management.
- Familiarity with real-time systems and integration of hardware components.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
