Our client is seeking a skilled Software Tester to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues and improve the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on design and implementation.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
