Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative team within the IES DEX organization. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a transformative team as they transition from a successful proof of concept to an enterprise-scale operation in the Cart Building and Package Consolidation space.
In this role, you will have the chance to work in a full-stack ownership model, allowing you to engage with both customer-facing products and core infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting and developing customer touchpoints throughout the entire shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable software solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of learning and improvement.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new systems and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with web technologies and frameworks, including React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant software development experience, with a focus on full-stack development.
