About this role
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and technical direction of a cloud-based application for an energy software company. This is a hands-on, short-term contract role ideal for someone who can provide architectural oversight and mentor a mid-sized development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and guide the architecture of a cloud-native application built on .NET with a React or Angular frontend.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Oversee the development process, ensuring best practices in coding and design are followed.
- Mentor and support development team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software architecture, particularly with .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in software development and architecture.
