Shopify Developer - Contract

Our client is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about e-commerce and has a strong background in Shopify development. You will be responsible for creating and customizing Shopify themes, integrating APIs, and ensuring the best user experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid templating language.
• Implement responsive design and optimize websites for mobile devices.
• Collaborate with designers and strategists to create user-centric solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Shopify stores.
• Work with REST APIs to enhance functionality and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify theme customization and app development.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus features.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing Shopify projects.
