Senior Software Engineer

Our client is a leading AI-powered lending fintech with a strong presence in India and Africa. They are on a mission to expand financial access for millions of people traditionally excluded from the formal financial system. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their innovative team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions that support our client’s lending platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and refine product requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software development, preferably in a fintech environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
• Strong understanding of database management and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
