Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team on a 3-month contract in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background combined with expertise in test automation, quality engineering, and modern software development practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
- Execute and analyze test cases, reporting defects and issues as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in software development and testing.
