Our client is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join their team in Toronto, ON. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable applications with a focus on performance, security, and compliance with AODA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable full stack applications.
- Translate system specifications into fully functional, tested code.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with modern front-end frameworks.
- Develop and maintain relational databases to support application functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with full stack development.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of AODA compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Java full stack development, preferably with government clients.
