Our client is seeking a Senior Independent AI Engineer / Architect to join their innovative network of senior AI professionals. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have real-world impact. You will collaborate with small teams to develop production AI systems for startups, scale-ups, and global companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement LLM-powered products and workflows.
- Develop agent architectures and orchestration systems.
- Build retrieval, evaluation, and reliability infrastructure.
- Lead enterprise AI deployments and create AI-native products from the ground up.
- Scale machine learning platforms to meet operational demands.
- Engage directly with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to shape technical approaches and outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AI architecture and engineering with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and MLOps.
- Familiarity with AI deployment in production environments.
- Ability to translate complex research into business value.
- Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in AI and machine learning roles.
