Our client is seeking a Senior Azure Data / MLOps / AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage Azure-native cloud infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and AI platforms that support enterprise-scale data products and AI applications. This role is crucial for enhancing the data capabilities of a leading telecommunications operator in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure-native cloud solutions for data processing and AI applications.
- Develop and manage MLOps pipelines to streamline model deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI models into production environments.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and AI applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in MLOps practices and tools.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and data architecture.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, MLOps, or AI platform engineering.
