Our client is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer I (SDE1) to join their Transportation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with business and operations teams to gather shipping carrier requirements. You will work closely with transportation technology teams to integrate new carriers and shipping methods into the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and operations teams to understand and document shipping carrier requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain transportation documents including shipping labels, carrier electronic manifests, and invoices.
• Work with transportation technology teams to ensure seamless integration of new carriers and shipping methods.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transportation systems and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with web technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience Level:

• 0-2 years of relevant software development experience.
• Recent graduates with a degree in Computer Science or a related field are encouraged to apply.
