This role involves collaborating with business and operations teams to gather ship carrier requirements and work closely with transportation technology teams to integrate new carriers and shipping methods into the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain transportation documents such as shipping labels, carrier electronic manifests, and invoices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new shipping solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to shipping processes and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance integration processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with web services and APIs, particularly in a transportation or logistics context.
- Familiarity with database management and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development or a related field.
