Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on expertise in SAP system administration, with a strong focus on installations, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and ongoing support. This role requires a deep technical understanding of SAP landscapes and the ability to manage complex SAP environments effectively while ensuring system availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and refresh activities.
- Manage system landscapes, including transport management and client administration.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems.
- Implement and maintain SAP security policies and user access controls.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, and BW.
- Proficiency in SAP installation and upgrade procedures.
- Experience with performance tuning and system optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP security and user management best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience Level:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP Basis consulting and administration.
