About this role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in RICEF development, modern ABAP programming, SAP integration technologies, and data migration. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
  • Implement modern ABAP programming techniques and best practices.
  • Work on data migration projects and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and SAP modules.
  • Participate in system upgrades and migrations from ECC to S/4HANA.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience: 6-7 years in SAP ABAP development.
