About this role

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in testing Salesforce solutions, be proficient in automation frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright, and have a deep understanding of Service Cloud functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Define test environments and configure them to support testing efforts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Salesforce testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks, particularly Selenium and Playwright.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and its functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience Level:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a technology-driven environment is preferred.
