About this role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Tech Lead to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in leading the architecture, governance, and technical delivery of enterprise-scale SFMC solutions across a complex multi-region transformation program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SFMC and a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of SFMC solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Establish and enforce SFMC standards, architecture, and governance across projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SFMC with other systems.
- Oversee the technical delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Manage release readiness and deployment processes for SFMC solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance SFMC capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including hands-on technical expertise.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation best practices and data management.
- Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with API integrations and data migration strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., SFMC Consultant, SFMC Developer) are preferred.
Experience Level:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing technology, with at least 4 years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
