Our client is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join their small independent studio, focused on delivering quality web design and development work. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a designer and take ownership of projects, driving them from initial concept to a fully functioning solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional applications.
- Drive projects from concept through to deployment and beyond.
- Perform maintenance and bug fixing on existing applications.
- Write and maintain technical documentation to support development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
