About this role
Our client is seeking a Ruby Full Stack Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract that is extendable. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Ruby on Rails development and a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and manage relational databases, with a focus on MySQL.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work with cloud technologies, particularly AWS ECS, to deploy and manage applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, with Ruby 3.x experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AngularJS and Angular (2).
- Strong experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL; Aurora MySQL experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS ECS and related cloud technologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing requirements.
