Our client is seeking a skilled Red Hat System Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Red Hat-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Red Hat Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain system security measures and perform regular system audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support to users.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and manage server configurations.
- Automate system tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular backups to prevent data loss.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, specifically with Red Hat Linux.
- Strong knowledge of system security and best practices.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, VMware).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in system administration.
