Our client is seeking a skilled Performance Testing Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in implementing performance test solutions within Agile and DevOps environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications through effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement performance testing strategies and solutions.
- Utilize analytical tools to assess application performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate requirements into actionable performance testing plans.
- Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure application robustness.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Document and report on performance testing outcomes to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for performance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience: 5-8 years in performance testing with a strong focus on Agile/DevOps practices.
