Our client is seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with expertise in custom coding for a 6-month contract position that may be extended. This role is fully remote and requires an immediate joiner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing and engineering, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance test plans and scripts using JMeter.
- Develop custom code to enhance testing capabilities and automate processes.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to improve application performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Conduct various types of performance tests, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in JMeter and custom coding.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- In-depth knowledge of performance engineering processes and methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in performance testing and engineering.
