About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer for a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing and engineering, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement performance test plans and strategies.
- Execute load, stress, endurance, stability, and resiliency tests using JMeter.
- Develop custom scripts for performance testing in Java or Python.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are met.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficient in JMeter and custom coding.
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Python programming.
- In-depth understanding of the performance engineering process.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
