Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a proven track record of solving complex issues related to database performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in resolving kernel issues to ensure optimal functionality of ASR.
- Help add nodes to an existing RavenDB server hosted in the cloud.
- Provide support in rebuilding the database cluster in the cloud environment.
- Migrate data between systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Transfer knowledge and provide training to in-house staff to enhance their database management skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database administration and management.
- Proficiency in cloud database solutions, particularly RavenDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective knowledge transfer.
- Familiarity with data migration processes and best practices.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle and cloud technologies.
