Role Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer (OCI) with 3 – 6 years of experience to build, manage, automate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure environments. The role will primarily focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and will involve a variety of tasks including provisioning, operations, automation, security, monitoring, and migration activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OCI services and a strong understanding of cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments to meet enterprise needs.
- Automate cloud operations and deployment processes using tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement security best practices to protect data and applications.
- Support migration activities to transition applications and services to OCI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay updated on the latest OCI features and enhancements to continuously improve cloud operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 – 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
