About this role

Our client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team in a hybrid role based in India. This long-term contract position involves providing daily support for incidents and change requests within the Network Service Data Team. As a hands-on professional, you will work across Production, Non-Production, and Disaster Recovery environments, ensuring the integrity and performance of the network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and support network systems in Production, Non-Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and upgrades.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal operation.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and changes for compliance and audit purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in a complex network environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Experience with network security practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking solutions and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Experience:

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a related field.
