Our client is seeking a skilled consultant for the MEL System Development and Implementation project. This role involves leveraging digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data science to enhance food, land, and water systems. The consultant will work on developing and implementing a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system that effectively tracks progress and assesses outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a comprehensive MEL system tailored to project needs.
- Implement data collection methodologies and tools to support monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Analyze data to assess project outcomes and impacts, providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Support adaptive management processes through regular reporting and feedback loops.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing MEL systems in a consultancy capacity.
- Strong knowledge of digital technologies, data science, and artificial intelligence applications in agriculture or environmental sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in MEL system development and implementation.
