Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using relevant programming languages and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Implement best practices for application modernization and integration with cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing mainframe applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Familiarity with application modernization techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in mainframe development and application management.
