About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with a strong background in device drivers and hypervisor systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and testing device drivers across Linux, Android, and QNX platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop device drivers for Linux/Android/QNX environments.
- Work with hypervisor-based systems, preferably with experience in Redbend, QNX, or Xen.
- Implement multithreaded programming and utilize IPCs, interrupts, and synchronization methods effectively.
- Handle and implement communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART in device drivers.
- Manage and manipulate Device Tree structures for hardware configuration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Linux kernel development and device driver design.
- Strong knowledge of CPU virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in multithreaded programming and synchronization techniques.
- Familiarity with communication protocols and their implementation in device drivers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Linux engineering, focusing on device drivers and hypervisor systems.
