About this role
Our client is seeking a Linguistic Tester specializing in the IT/Software domain, specifically for the Punjabi language. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the linguistic quality and cultural relevance of software applications and digital content. You will work closely with localization teams and developers to identify and resolve linguistic issues, ensuring a seamless user experience for Punjabi-speaking audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and test software applications for linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Collaborate with localization teams to provide feedback on translations and adaptations.
- Identify and report bugs related to linguistic elements in software and applications.
- Conduct linguistic quality assurance tests and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Assist in the development of linguistic guidelines and best practices for Punjabi localization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Punjabi and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of software localization processes and tools.
- Experience with linguistic testing and quality assurance in the IT/software domain.
- Familiarity with localization tools and platforms, such as CAT tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in linguistic testing or localization.
