Our client is seeking a Lead QA Engineer on a contract basis to oversee the quality assurance processes within their production environment. This role is crucial for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and performance before they are delivered to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA team to ensure effective testing strategies are implemented.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects.
- Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA tools and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
