About this role
Our client is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native infrastructure. This role involves utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to streamline software and data delivery across various cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring robust security and observability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage cloud foundation platforms using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Monitor and enhance system observability to proactively address issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
