About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced LabVantage LIMS Application Support Consultant to join their managed services team. This role is crucial for providing high-level support to a global pharmaceutical client, ensuring the stability and efficiency of application operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining service level agreements (SLA) and resolving incidents effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 application support for LabVantage LIMS, addressing technical issues and user queries.
- Ensure stable application operations by monitoring system performance and implementing necessary optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities to enhance application performance.
- Assist in training end-users and providing guidance on best practices for utilizing LabVantage LIMS.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and user satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in application support, specifically with LabVantage LIMS.
- Strong understanding of laboratory information management systems and their functionalities.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to LIMS applications.
- Experience with incident management and service desk tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Level:
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in application support, with a focus on LIMS solutions.
