About this role

Our client is seeking an experienced LabVantage LIMS Application Support Consultant to join their managed services team. This role is crucial for providing high-level support to a global pharmaceutical client, ensuring the stability and efficiency of application operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining service level agreements (SLA) and resolving incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 application support for LabVantage LIMS, addressing technical issues and user queries.
  • Ensure stable application operations by monitoring system performance and implementing necessary optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
  • Maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities to enhance application performance.
  • Assist in training end-users and providing guidance on best practices for utilizing LabVantage LIMS.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and user satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in application support, specifically with LabVantage LIMS.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory information management systems and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to LIMS applications.
  • Experience with incident management and service desk tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Level:

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in application support, with a focus on LIMS solutions.
