Our client is seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer for a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin, particularly in server-side development, and a willingness to work on REST API development. This role is focused on enterprise application development and requires a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Implement unit tests and other testing strategies to ensure code quality.
- Participate in product and platform development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Kotlin and server-side applications.
- Proficiency in Java is acceptable if the candidate is willing to learn Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and writing unit tests.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
