About this role

Our client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Key Account Director to manage large banking clients within the BFSI sector. This role involves leading strategic partnerships and driving growth in domestic markets. You will report directly to the Banking Sales Head and play a crucial role in enhancing client relationships and delivering exceptional IT services and consulting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in large banking institutions.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling IT services and consulting solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and client feedback to inform service offerings and improve client engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in account management or business development within the IT services and consulting sector, preferably in BFSI.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and IT solutions relevant to the sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
