Java Engineer

Our client is seeking a Java Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join their team in Bangalore. This is a contract position for one year, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development and a passion for building robust applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage data effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Utilize Git for version control and manage code repositories.
• Familiarize with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with PHP is a plus.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically in Java and backend technologies.
