Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital customer experience by resolving technical issues and supporting various IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and software.
- Maintain documentation of support activities and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and systems.
- Educate users on best practices for technology use and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
