IT Security Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s information systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. You will work on innovative security projects and collaborate with various teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts to identify potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Respond to security breaches and incidents, conducting investigations and reporting findings.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Provide training and awareness programs to employees regarding security protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT security, risk management, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or scripting for automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience Level:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
