Headless Commerce Front-End Engineer (React) - On Contract

Our client is seeking a Senior Headless Commerce Front-End Engineer with expertise in React for a contract role. The tentative start date is July 1, 2006, and the position is expected to last for 4 months, with the possibility of extension to 6 months. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of front-end development experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building a React-based headless storefront and customer portal experience. You will own the UI architecture, component development, and customer-facing workflows, ensuring a seamless and responsive design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a headless commerce storefront using React.
• Develop reusable components and maintain UI consistency across the application.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging user experiences.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure responsive design across various devices and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of web development principles.
• Experience with headless commerce architectures and frameworks.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques and mobile-first development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience Level:
