Our client is seeking a talented freelance Handbags & Lifestyle Accessories Designer to collaborate on the design and development of an upcoming collection, launching in early September 2026. This project will run from July to September 2026 and will focus on the intersection of luxury craftsmanship and material innovation, featuring fish leather and other next-generation sustainable leather alternatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop unique handbag and lifestyle accessory concepts that align with the brand's vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development and marketing to ensure cohesive execution of designs.
- Research and incorporate innovative materials and sustainable practices into the design process.
- Create detailed technical specifications and prototypes for production.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform design decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handbag and lifestyle accessories designer with a portfolio showcasing innovative designs.
- Strong understanding of luxury craftsmanship and sustainable materials.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant design experience in the fashion accessories industry.
