Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Guidewire Portal Developer to help design, build, and enhance modern digital experiences across their insurance technology ecosystem. This role will focus on delivering customer-facing and agent-facing solutions leveraging the Guidewire Digital platform, including Jutro, portal frameworks, APIs, and Guidewire core platform integrations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Guidewire digital development, strong engineering fundamentals, and practical experience designing scalable, resilient integrations between digital channels and Guidewire core systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. This individual will play a key role in accelerating digital transformation initiatives by building intuitive experiences, enabling seamless integrations, and partnering closely with architecture, product, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical solutions across Guidewire Digital and core InsuranceSuite platforms.
- Design and implement digital capabilities for customer, agent, and partner experiences.
- Configure and extend Guidewire platforms including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Guidewire Digital Portal frameworks.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and production-ready solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.
- Design and build modern, responsive, high-quality digital user experiences using Guidewire Jutro, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Guidewire Digital APIs.
- Build customer-facing portals, agent self-service experiences, mobile-friendly interfaces, and digital workflows.
- Ensure digital experiences are intuitive, accessible, performant, and aligned with UX best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and business teams to deliver meaningful digital capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in Guidewire ecosystem development.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire Digital, CustomerEngage, or Jutro.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire architecture, configuration patterns, and integration models.
